The Dorking Christian Centre aims to be at the heart of the local community. Below are brief details on what is happening here.
Our aim is to ensure our local community has the option of an affordable hot lunch Monday to Saturday. The café is open 10am to 1.30pm and serves lunch from 12 noon. Main meals are £3.90 and desserts £1.80.
See Centre Café page for more details.
The Centre has many activities where you can have fun and make new friends. These include Tai Chi, chair exercise, upwords, bridge, table tennis, bingo, sequence dance & tea dance.
See What's On page for details.
The Dorking Community Fridge is in our foyer area. The Centre is open from 10am to 8pm most days.
The Community Fridge is stocked from food surplus from supermarkets - it has a range of food from bread and pastries but to ripe fruit & vegetables. The idea is to reduce the amount of food going to landfill.
Anyone can then come and take what they need. There is a donation tin if you would like to leave a donation but no obligation.
Opening hours Tuesdays 5-6.30pm Thursday 2.30-4pm in our café area.
