	Soul Connect is the dedicated Youth Site for Dorking Churches Together... click on the image to get straight there! Churches Together in Dorking employ a Youth Development Director - Jimmy Young, who works out of the christian centre. His role is to bring together the youth work of the churches within the CTD partnership, and find ways to grow and develop this work with the young people of Dorking and the surrounding areas. His passions outside of youth work include his wife, music and sport, although he seeks to bring the latter two into his work on any available opportunity. His proud upbringing in Wales means that he is looking forward to enjoying the 2010 World Cup in South Africa as an interested neutral, able to appreciate the football for its own sake. This degree of detachment will not however be on show during the 6 Nations tournament, or in fact any time or situation where Wales face England in any form of sporting contest! Music-wise he is currently recommending recent albums by Mumford and Sons, and Florence and the Machine, and still listening to anything by Johnny Cash, Radiohead and Bright Eyes. But his true passion is for seeing young people growing and developing in their faith as they start a lifetimes journey of understanding what it means to be loved by God, and set free to live life to the full in relationship with Jesus. This is what he wants to see more of in Dorking, and hopes to bring together churches to do just that! Upcoming CTD youth events include a Youth Alpha course, a big screen video games tournament,a karaoke evening and a youth focused big worship event in the summer.
